"Scrape", the outrageously low and slippery '39 Lincoln Zephyr custom three-window coupe created by East Coast car show promoter, editor and writer Terry Cook, will make its year 2000 West Coast show circuit tour at four major events produced by Portland, OR, showman Dan Cyr.

The sleek and and stylish passion pearl purple Lincoln will be on display at the January 6-9 Grand National Roadster Show at San Francisco's Cow Palace; the 50th Sacramento Autorama, February 2-6 at the Cal Expo; the February 17-20 Portland Rod & Custom Show at the Portland Expo Center; and the inaugural Seattle Roadster Show, March 9-12 at the Emerald City's all new Stadium Exhibition Center.

Seven years in the making, the plush, channeled and seamless Lincoln has been chopped 8", utilizes a custom '41 Lincoln Zephyr grille and nose section, extended rear fenders (the car is 7" longer than its production configuration), frenched-in '39 Ford headlamp lenses, a reshaped and lengthened hood and reworked suicide doors. The bodywork was completed by Delaware craftsman Ramsey Mosher.
